Global Goals Jam 2016

Kyushu University School of Design hosted Global Goals Jam in Fukuoka on 10th and 11th September.
Participants with 7nationalities came together and designed for Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).

In 2016 over 500 designers and creators contributed to the jam in various Cities around the world. 
Fukuoka, Amsterdam, Accra, Madrid, Santiago de Chili, New York, Kopenhagen, Melbourne, Auckland, Bangalore, Edinburg, Rio de Janeiro, Turin, San Sebastian.
Results were presented at the Social Good Summit 2016 at NewYork by MediaLAB Amsterdam.

■Call for Participants “ Global Goals Jam”

The Global Goals Jam aims to answer this question, solving challenges related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

The #GlobalGoalsJam is a two day event consisting of short design sprints. Creative teams, with designers, developers and Jammers from the local community will work together using a tailored toolkit. The main goal of the Jam is to create interventions aimed at short term targets in support of the long term goals.
