Call for Project Partners that Tackle “Local Issues”!- Global Goals Jam Fukuoka/Kyoto/Yamaguchi Community

The SDGs Design Unit, the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, is pleased to announce that Global Goals Jam 2022 will be held this year with the collaboration of the Fukuoka, Kyoto, and the Yamaguchi community.

Why don’t you boost your project with the “Global Goals Jam” community, in which more than 8,000 people around the world have participated, and more than 1,000 ideas have been generated under the SDGs?

*” Global Goals Jam (GGJ)” is a workshop in which diverse citizens participate on a voluntary basis to generate ideas for achieving the SDGs. It is held globally every September. In Japan, starting with the first event in Fukuoka in 2016 (hosted by the Faculty of Design, Kyushu University), the community has expanded to Tokyo, Kyoto, and other cities.

In 2022, GGF organizers in Fukuoka, Kyoto, and Yamaguchi will collaborate to implement the event jointly.

What are “Project Partners”?
GGJ in Fukuoka, Kyoto, and Yamaguchi invites people involved in “the project to solve local issues” to participate as partners. Together with workshop participants, we will consider more concrete measures to promote projects and create opportunities to expand the network. We are also trying to create opportunities to expand your network and think about more concrete project promotion measures together with workshop participants.

In preparation for the two-day workshop to be held on September 17 (Sat), and 18 (Sun) in 2022, we have started accepting applications for project partners. (Sign-up Deadline: June 24).
