The Industrial Design Course, Faculty of Design, Kyushu University, has launched the online version of the Imaginary Stationery Exhibition, which was held at Ohashi Campus from July 31 to August 3, 2026, and invites you to take part in the online popularity vote.
This exhibition showcases the designs and prototypes of five types of stationery items—pens, pen holders, scissors, tape cutters, and calculators—created by third-year students in the Industrial Design Course over the course of approximately two months of classes. Each student freely developed a concept for their own stationery series and expressed it through color, shape, and materials. In this course, students prioritize free thinking without being constrained by usability or manufacturing limitations, and they acquire the mindset and expressive skills needed to clearly convey abstract concepts and images through the product’s appearance.
Online Popularity Poll Deadline: August 31, 2026
Results Announcement: The results will be announced on the Imaginary Stationery Exhibition (Web Edition) website in September 2026.
