[Design Library] Drawing Water: Photo Exhibition of Dr. Tetsu Nakamura

The Design Library will hold a small photo exhibition, “Drawing Water,” introducing the activities of Dr. Tetsu Nakamura, a graduate of Kyushu University School of Medicine, in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

From medical care to well-digging and the construction of irrigation canals, Dr. Nakamura continually responded to the needs of local communities. Focusing particularly on his irrigation projects, this exhibition traces his work through photographs, videos, and a model, highlighting both the technical ingenuity adapted to local natural conditions and his collaboration with local communities.
