The Sense Festival which will showcase students’ works on the class “Design in Japan B”, will be held on Sunday, January 22.
The class “Design in Japan B” aims to learn about and practically engage in Japanese Design from a variety of subjects and perspectives and to nurture students who will be able to communicate about Japanese Design with a deep insight in the future. The course contents focus on the body and sensory perception, and examine both traditional and contemporary design and art practices, including scent, sound and music, dance and movement. Students participated in these practices and created their own design/art/music work in groups.
At this festival, you can experience the mix or the separation of senses focusing on hearing, smelling, and feeling.
