[Student Award] “Iwataya Mitsukoshi Prize” at The 78th Fukuoka Prefectural Art Exhibition

Mahoshi Naito, a second-year master’s student in the Media Design Course (Tomotari Laboratory), was awarded the Iwataya Mitsukoshi Prize at The 78th Fukuoka Prefectural Art Exhibition (Ken-Ten) .
The Fukuoka Prefectural Art Exhibition is a public exhibition that usually attracts about 3,000 entries in seven categories every year: Japanese-style painting, Western-style painting, sculpture, crafts, calligraphy, photography, and design.
His artwork was highly evaluated for accurately expressing the uncertainty of human existence in the modern age while utilizing the texture of terra cotta.
