(Ohashi Campus is the primary location where lectures will be offered, but teaching and other activities may have to be conducted at other campuses, including the Ito campus, from time to time.

9. Qualifications
Applicants should have a deep interest in and understanding of design and must meet the following criteria:
1) A doctoral degree, equivalent qualification, or a doctoral candidate expected to receive their degree within a few years.
2) Demonstrated activity and research experience in community design and communication design, particularly in collaboration with companies, local governments, and civil organizations.
3) Ability to lead projects aimed at addressing societal issues using design perspectives or methodologies.
4) Proficiency in developing design education programs and curricula.
5) Willingness to cooperatively engage in management and administrative tasks.

10. Treatment
(1) Wages: The annual salary system (annual salary system introduced on April 1, 2020) of Kyushu University will be applied.
The amount of annual salary will be determined by relevant university regulations of Kyushu University based on experience, etc.
(2) Working Hours: Under the Discretionary Labor System for Professional Work, the person is expected to work the equivalent of 7 hours and 45 minutes daily, except on holidays.
(3) Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays (December 29th to January 3rd)
(4) Employment Insurances include: Employment Insurance, Industrial Accident Insurance, Health Insurance, Welfare Pension

(2) List of educational achievements, including abilities and education-related qualifications. And a List of academic achievements, including 1) original papers (separate refereed papers from non-refereed ones), 2) coauthored papers, 3) academic books, 4) conference presentations, 5) products/creations, and 6) other achievements that should be considered.
(3) List of research guidance, including 1) papers by guided students, 2) conference presentations by guided students, and 3) other achievements by guided students that should be considered.
(4) List of educational experiences including lectures, projects, and teaching at other universities.
(5) Activities related to academic societies, social activities, academic societies you belong to, titles, and so on.
(6) List of government grants, joint research, and/or private grants.
(7) List of international projects and networks, such as social contributions and/or international contributions towards design activities.
(8) One copy of your best academic papers (up to five).
(9) Two references (name, affiliation, and contact information).
(10) Summary of research (no template, approximately 750 words in A4 format)
(11) Aspirations for education and research activities as a member of the Faculty of Design (no template, approximately 750 words in A4 format)
