On August 2, 2024, Professor Kun Pyo Lee, Dean of the School of Design, and Associate Professor Jaden Park from Hong Kong Polytechnic University visited the Ohashi Campus of Kyushu University.
The visit began with a courtesy call to Professor Omoto, Dean of the Faculty of Design at Kyushu University. Following this, a faculty meeting was held with the participation of Professor Melanie Sarantou, Associate Professor Zhang Yanfang, Assistant Professor Tokushu Inamura, Assistant Professor Yasuyuki Hayama, and Assistant Professor Moe Shimomura, specializing in service design from both universities, focusing on concrete ways to enhance collaboration.
During this meeting, faculty members introduced their research areas and engaged in lively discussions about future collaborative research frameworks. Participants exchanged ideas on potential research projects leveraging the strengths of both institutions and the expansion of student exchange programs.
