Kana Hirano (Naoshige Akita Laboratory), who graduated from the Industrial Design Course, School of Design in 2023, received the “Cute(Kawaii) Kansei Design Award of Excellence” from the Japan Society of Kansei Engineering.
The award-winning product is “tetorico – a series of cleaning products that make your hands trickle”, which was produced as part of her graduation research.
The reason for the award was that the actual product is cute not only in appearance but also in touch. The concept and research analysis were highly evaluated.
