Student Works to Be Exhibited in the DESIGN WEEKEND FUKUOKA Vol. 0 Special Exhibition
“Chairs and Everyday Life: Connecting Design and Daily Life”
Student works will be exhibited in the special exhibition “Chairs and Everyday Life: Connecting Design and Daily Life,” held as part of DESIGN WEEKEND FUKUOKA Vol. 0 from Thursday, May 28 to Sunday, May 31, 2026.
This exhibition features designers, artists, shop owners, collectors, and others engaged in design in their daily lives, each presenting a chair (or stool) that they designed or personally use, along with a book associated with it. From Kyushu University, the following three students will participate in the exhibition:

Yutaro Miyake (2nd-year Master’s Student, Strategic Design Course, Graduate School of Design)
Masaki Kokubo (1st-year Master’s Student, Human Life Design and Science Course, Graduate School of Design)
Hana Yamaguchi (4th-year Undergraduate Student, Industrial Design Course, School of Design)
These works were created as part of the “Interior Product Design” project within the course “Creative Design Project” in the Industrial Design Course, School of Design, under the instruction of Naoshige Akita et al..
