The central facility for experiments can produce a complete “external world” for experiments by utilizing a variety of sound effects and visual apparatus. This main facility was planned and designed to integrate different media in a created space which is useful for education, experiment and production. This hall is also used for other general purposes such as various gatherings, lecture meetings and presentations of papers.
In the four laboratories for basic experiments, general and basic research for each department is conducted. The students’ “Tajigen” is a place for experiment and study, and in some instances, it becomes an event site for the university festival, a concert venue, a special stage, or a rehearsal space for an orchestra.
This wing for experiments, a special space for students to exert their creative abilities to the full extent, has become a symbol of the Ohashi Campus.
