Design Library SCIENCE PLANTER Vol.31: Behind the Renovation of Multi-purpose Building

Kyushu University Design Library holds a seminar on the renovation of Multi-purpose Building in the Ohashi Campus.

The facility, whose nickname in Japanese is Tajigen, is a hub of creative activities by the design students.
It reopened in June 2024 after a year of renovation.
In this seminar, Dr. Katsuya Yamauchi who was in charge of the renovation of the acoustic facility talks on the backstage of the renovation of Tajigen with the tour there.

Let’s understand Tajigen more, and make full use of it.

SCIENCE PLANTER is a series of science café seminars in a casual atmosphere held by Kyushu University Design Library.
The concept is to nurture new interests with introductions of studies by researchers and students in the School of Design.
