My current job
As a postdoctoral researcher, my work primarily consists of research activities and other duties. In terms of research, I am currently focusing on the fields of virtual reality and emotion regulation. My other responsibilities include supervising the research of master’s and undergraduate students in the lab, participating in research-related working meetings, and preparing grant applications.
How I spent my student life
Before enrolling in the Graduate School of Design, I had already been studying psychology and was familiar with the perspective it offers. After joining the Graduate School, I learned that the innovative combination of design and engineering can transform people’s cognition and even regulate their emotional experiences. This realization is incredibly special to me and has become a lasting research theme that I will pursue in the future.
Message for prospective students
Life in graduate school is a fulfilling experience where you can meet friends from various countries and engage in interdisciplinary exchanges unique to the Graduate School of Design. This experience not only enriches your academic journey but also contributes to improving people's lives. The collision and fusion of psychology and design is something I find deeply fascinating. I believe that such interactions are fertile ground for generating new ideas.
