In my graduation thesis, I investigated people who live without houses and use the functions of the city, and named them “匚民”. The boxy, uncompleted spaces of the people released into the city are parasitic and symbiotic in every part of the city. In the process of symbiosis, they give birth to new spaces, and more parasites appear. The city is shaped by the parasites and the parasitized, and the power-boomin’ village expands infinitely.
