Nao Hoashi, a second-year master’s student in the Human Life Design and Science Course, received the Good Presentation Award (in the General Session) at the 71st Annual Conference of the Japanese Society for the Science of Design. The title of her presentation was “Design Study of Tools to Guide Continuous Pregnancy Health Checkups in Bangladesh.”
This presentation was made in a joint project with Kyushu University Hospital and International Medical Department of Kyushu University in the class “Studio Project I-IV (Faculty in charge: Naoshige Akita, Hiroyuki Matsuguma, Kuriko Kudo, Shunta Tomimatsu, and Yasuyuki Hirai)” in the 2023 academic year.
It was evaluated as one of the best among the many studies presented at the conference, and was highly praised as a model for future research outline writing and presentation.
