My current job

I am involved in planning new services for PCs and smartphones that utilize digital maps and location information.
Map information is an essential part of the infrastructure we interact with in our daily lives.
No matter how much time and lifestyles change, map information will remain indispensable as long as people and objects continue to move.
Exploring the diverse needs of each era and designing services that create new behaviors in people is a highly fulfilling job.

How I spent my student life

In my master’s program, I researched the relationship between genes and their reactions to light. Among my experiences, the experiment involving around 200 participants left a strong impression on me. The study required genetic sample data from 200 individuals, so I sought participants by visiting undergraduate classes and reaching out to various students across Geiko.
Collecting and analyzing the data was challenging, but ultimately, the research earned me an academic award.

Message for prospective students

Geiko attracts a diverse range of people with unique perspectives.
Through studying, discussing, struggling, and conducting research with such peers, I was able to develop many “compartments” or skills and insights. Having these compartments enriches your life immensely.
I encourage all of you to interact with many people, gain a variety of experiences, and create as many “compartments” as you can.
