My current job

I make plush toys for characters in Disney, Pokémon, Universal, and Bruna. Making plush toys does not mean sewing, but I plan and commercialize a brand format for plush toys that can be used with various characters. I need to make proposals that match the trends and needs, and I made use of the conceptualization and presentation skills I learned during my university days. I am in charge of the characters that I like, and I am excited to work every day.

How I spent my student life

While in school, I did my best to do what I loved, including design practice and overseas projects, while taking the minimum number of study credits. I discovered the appeal of foreign countries and traveled to more than 20 countries in four years. I realized through various design practices that I enjoyed designing toys, so I spent a year studying abroad in Germany, a toy superpower, and visited toy designers. As a result, I am now doing a job that I enjoy. I think Geiko is a place where you can find your own "love" and then pursue that "love" further.

Messages for prospective students

I believe that Geiko is a place that expands my possibilities. It's an environment where you can learn many things, including the facilities and teachers. Even if you don't have a clear goal for what you want to do in the future, I think you can discover your strengths and what you like to do here. I hope you all find what you love!
